The woodlands surrounding this location are full of wildlife (wild boar, varieties of deer, foxes, badgers, pine martens) and the birds are frequent visitors to the house and gardens, as this image shows.
Guests are welcome to enjoy the gardens to the full. There is space for lounging, for soaking up the glorious sunshine, and for quiet meditation.
The surrounding villages host frequent colourful markets and festas, as you can see from the two photos below. On the left is one of the stalls in the food section from one of the occasional Sunday markets in Luino: the other is a photo of a stall at the annual pumpkin festival held in Agra every autumn.
